Using Content Blocks in the Sidebar

Step 1 - Access Preview

Within the Site Manager, click the  icon to access the Preview Editor.

Step 2 - Enter Content Edit Mode

Click the at the bottom-right of the Preview Editor to access the Content Edit Mode.

Step 3 - Add Content Block

Click the + button in the sidebar of your page to add a Content Block.

Select the type of Content Block you would like to add from the grid of options.

Step 4 - Position Content Blocks in Sidebar (Optional)

To adjust the order of the Content Blocks in the page sidebar, hover over each block to access the moving handle.

Note: Some blocks do not display a separate moving handle.  When you hover these blocks (image, map, gallery, etc.) the mouse cursor will change to a moving handle and you can click and drag the block from there.

Click, drag and drop your block to the place you would like it to appear. Use the blue line to anchor your block and help guide your placement.

Step 5 - Preview Changes (Optional)

Click the X in the Preview Editor to exit out of the Content Edit Mode and return to the main Preview Editor.

Depending upon your template, the blocks in your page sidebar will appear similar to this:

Note: Sidebars are not the same in all templates.  Some templates offer a sidebar on all pages and others may only offer a Blog Page sidebar, while some templates do not offer a sidebar at all.  You can change your template at any time using the steps in this guide.
