Squarespace Journals support posting images  and content to your site via e-mail.  If your phone has an email feature, you can also use this to post to your site from your phone.

STEP 1 - ENABLE POST BY EMAIL

Access your journal page configuration.

In the configuration screen, scroll down in your Journal Configuration settings until you get to the section Post by Email Options. Click the checkbox to enable posting by email.

STEP 2 - ADD A SECRET WORD

Add a secret word to your Journal's email address to make posting to your journal secure.

STEP 3 - AUTO-PUBLISH (Optional)

You can set your post to auto-publish when received by your Journal, by clicking the checkbox titled Auto-Publish Email Posts.

Step 4 - Post to your Journal

You can e-mail your content/image to the email address you have configured for this feature. Currently this supports plain text emails only, with a maximum of 1 attached picture. Pictures must be in JPG, PNG, or GIF format. The post must be emailed directly to the unique post address. Using the address in the 'CC:' or other fields will not post.

Entries posted by email typically post to your site within 5-10 minutes of our receipt of the email.

Note: Post by email supports the attachment of One image file. If you want to add an image to a post you are submitting via email, you need to actually use the option to Attach the file to the email. The image will not be passed along if you simply drag it into the body of the email. The image must be attached as a file attachment in the emailed post.
